⚠️ Internal draft. This document must be reviewed and approved by a lawyer specialized in IT and commercial law in the Dominican Republic before being published officially.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Ment ("we", "the service"), you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Description of the service
Ment is a SaaS electronic invoicing platform that allows taxpayers registered with the General Directorate of Internal Revenue (DGII) of the Dominican Republic to issue, digitally sign, and send Electronic Fiscal Receipts (e-CF) in compliance with current regulations.
3. Registration and account
To use the service you must register an account with truthful and complete information, including your RNC and corporate name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out under your account.
4. User responsibility
- The fiscal content of each invoice is the sole responsibility of the issuer.
- Ment does not audit or validate the truthfulness of the commercial data invoiced.
- The user must independently comply with their tax obligations before the DGII.
5. Service availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Events outside our control (including DGII infrastructure outages) may affect the service.
6. Plans and payments
Paid plans are billed monthly. The user may cancel at any time; there is no refund for partial periods. Plan changes take effect in the next billing cycle.
7. Intellectual property
All Ment software, brand, and content are our property. The fiscal data you upload remain yours — we only process them to provide the service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to the user is limited to the amount actually paid for the service in the previous 12 months.
9. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the service implies acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any controversy will be submitted to the competent courts of Santo Domingo.
